Morocco 4–2 Haiti: Atlas Lions rally from two goals down to advance

Morocco came from behind twice to beat Haiti 4–2 in a thrilling Group C encounter in Atlanta, booking their place in the Round of 32. Haiti — playing their first World Cup since 2010 — stunned the Atlas Lions in a breathtaking first half, but Morocco's quality eventually told as substitute Soufiane Rahimi and Gessime Yassine sealed a dramatic second-half recovery.

Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou could only watch as a Lenny Joseph effort deflected off him into the net on 10 minutes to give Haiti a shock lead. Achraf Hakimi equalised around the 39th minute, but Wilson Isidor — Haiti's second-ever World Cup scorer — restored Haiti's advantage with a spectacular long-range screamer into the top corner, set up by Jean-Kevin Duverne. In a breathless end to the first half, Ismael Saibari, assisted by Hakimi, levelled at 2–2 just before the whistle.

Morocco dominated the second half and Rahimi broke the deadlock with a composed finish from a loose ball inside the box following a corner routine on 78 minutes. Gessime Yassine then added a fourth on 87 minutes, with Rahimi providing the assist, to round off Morocco's comeback. Haiti received three yellow cards in the closing stages as the match grew heated. Morocco advanced as Group C runners-up behind Brazil; Haiti were eliminated.
