Senegal 5–0 Iraq: Pape Gueye brace leads Lions de la Teranga rout in Toronto

Senegal delivered a dominant 5–0 performance against 10-man Iraq at BMO Field in Toronto, with Habib Diarra opening the scoring inside four minutes and Pape Gueye netting a second-half brace. Iraq's Rebin Sulaka was sent off in the 13th minute for denying Sadio Mane a clear goal-scoring opportunity, and Senegal capitalised fully with four goals in the final 30 minutes of the match.

With the man advantage confirmed, the score remained 1–0 at half time as Senegal struggled to find the breakthrough against a disciplined 10-man defensive shape. The second half brought the rout: Ismaila Sarr tapped in from a Lamine Camara cross on 56 minutes, and three minutes later Pape Gueye struck with a left-footed effort assisted by Sarr to make it 3–0. Gueye added his second with a half-volley on 71 minutes, assisted by Iliman Ndiaye, to complete his brace.

Substitute Iliman Ndiaye rounded off the scoring with a long-range effort on 82 minutes, with Gueye returning the assist. Iraq also had Merchas Doski dismissed late after picking up a second yellow card. The 5–0 result boosted Senegal's goal difference and kept alive their hopes of advancing from Group I as a best third-placed side.
